Tourists Finish Out Suspended Game with a Win
ASHEVILLE- On Saturday night, the Asheville Tourists and the Bowling Green Hot Rods picked up where they left off Friday; the top of the second inning. Asheville led 1-0 entering play and both teams scored five runs. The Tourists ended up with a 6-5 victory.

The lone run on Friday came on a solo Home Run from Quincy Hamilton. Asheville continued to play long ball early into Saturday’s action. Luis Guerrero blasted a two-run Home Run in the bottom of the second. Cristian Gonzalez then clubbed a two-run Homer in the third.
C.J. Stubbs followed with a solo shot to give the Tourists a 6-0 advantage. Stubbs has gone deep in three consecutive games.
Spencer Arrighetti held the Hot Rods in check until Bowling Green rallied for two runs in the sixth. The visitors then scored once in the seventh, once in the eighth, and once in the ninth to pull within one. Jose Betances recorded a double-play and a groundout in the top of the ninth to earn his second save of the season.
The Tourists have won three straight games; all against the Hot Rods. Asheville will look to make it four-in-a-row with the series finale scheduled for Sunday at 6:05pm ET.
