It was the fourth straight win for the Travs and gave them a series victory over the Cardinals. Garrett Davila was the pivotal pitcher in the game for Arkansas working 3.1 scoreless innings with his team leading by a run. Several Travs had big offensive days led by Tyler Locklear who had three hits including a pair of doubles and scored three runs. Jared Oliva hit a three-run home run and drove in four.

* Oliva hit a sacrifice fly with the bases loaded to put the Travs back in front in the ninth after Springfield had tied it in the previous inning. Jake Anchia then followed with a three-run double to provide some insurance.
