North Little Rock, AR—For the second time in three nights, the Arkansas Travelers put together an eighth inning rally to come from behind and defeat the Corpus Christi Hooks, this time by a 5-3 count on Thursday night. The Travs scored three times in the eighth erasing a one run deficit and getting their second lead of the night. Taylor Dollard settled for no decision throwing five innings of one-run ball but stretched his unbeaten streak to 19 consecutive starts to close out the season. Travis Kuhn was the winner after firing two scoreless innings in relief and Isaiah Campbell pitched a scoreless ninth to close it out and earn his first Double-A save.
Moments That Mattered
* Corpus Christi took the lead with two runs in the sixth inning. The go-ahead tally scored on a wild pitch with the runner breaking for third and an errant throw into left field allowed him to score.
* Jack Larsen tied the game with a scorching single in the ninth. Kaden Polcovich then followed with a sacrifice fly to put the Travs in front.
