North Little Rock, AR-Two late five run innings propelled the Arkansas Travelers to a 13-7 victory over the NW Arkansas Naturals on Wednesday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. Down as many as five runs in the fifth inning and four runs in the seventh, the Travs were able to avoid a sweep in the three game series. The rally from five down matched the biggest come from behind win of the season for the Travs and was their 28th overall comeback win of the season. The pair of five run innings contained a total of six hits, six walks and three hit batters. The five run rally in the seventh inning began after there were two out and none on.
Moments That Mattered
* The Naturals built their lead to five with a pair of runs in the fifth inning on a steal of home (part of a double steal) and an RBI double by Kort Peterson, his third RBI of the night. But Nathan Bannister was able to get out of that inning and then worked a perfect sixth.
* Chris Mariscal tied the game with a two-run single off the glove of a diving Peterson in right-center.
* Joseph Odom followed Mariscal's hit with a go-ahead double into the left-center field gap to score Dario Pizzano for the lead.
