North Little Rock, AR-In the first extra inning at Dickey-Stephens Park under minor league baseball's new rules, the Arkansas Travelers (28-28) prevailed over the Tulsa Drillers (26-30), 4-3 in 10 innings. The win kept the Travs with a half-game of Springfield for the division lead. Joe DeCarlo hit the walk-off single through a drawn in infield to score pinch-runner Beau Amaral. Arkansas never trailed in the game but saw leads of 2-0 and 3-2 vanish as Tulsa hit a pair of tying solo homers. Matt Festa kept Tulsa from scoring in the top of the 10th inning by inducing a pair of pop-ups after the Drillers bunted to open the inning. Williams Pérez and Daniel Schlereth made their Travs debuts after signing with Seattle as minor league free agents earlier in the day. Perez started and pitched five innings allowing only an unearned run while Schlereth struck out Luke Raley, the only man he faced, to end the top of the seventh.
