Tropical Storm Cindy postpones opener with M-Braves on Thursday

BILOXI, MS - Thursday's scheduled series opener between Biloxi Shuckers and Mississippi Braves at MGM Park has been postponed due to Tropical Storm Cindy. The game will be made up as part of a Friday doubleheader beginning at 5:35 pm. The MGM Park gates will open at 5:00 pm. The twin bill will feature a pair of seven-inning games, with game two starting approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
Any fan with a ticket to Thursday's game may exchange it for a ticket of equal value, based on seating availability, for any future 2017 regular season, non-restricted home game. Exchanges are accepted exclusively at the MGM Park Box Office.
The first 1,500 fans through the gates on Friday will receive a Mascot Bank, featuring Schooner the Seagull provided by ACE Data Storage and Document Shredding. The giveaway will take place when gates open at 5:00 pm. Also, the Shuckers will be teaming up with The ALS Association Louisiana-Mississippi Chapter to raise awareness and research funding to STRIKE OUT Lou Gehrig's Disease. Since Thursday's game was postponed, the Shuckers will be offering $2 Yuengling Drafts at two locations inside MGM Park, $2 Fountain Soft Drinks and $3 weekly Draft Beer Specials on Friday presented by Yuengling, Coca-Cola and Kicker 108.
