North Little Rock, AR—The Arkansas Travelers threw their third shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over the Midland RockHounds on Friday night at Dickey-Stephens Park. Kyle Tyler dealt six shutout innings, striking out 10 on the way to his second win. Devin Sweet followed with two innings and the Isaiah Campbell pitched a perfect ninth to save the victory. Logan Warmoth and Jake Anchia had the Travs only two hits of the game, both driving in runs, on a double and a homer respectively.
Moments That Mattered
* Jonatan Clase walked to open the game, stole second and then scored on Warmoth’s double putting Arkansas in front just two batters into the game.
* Midland threatened in a one-run game in the eighth putting the tying run at third base with one out but Sweet notched a strikeout and groundout to end the inning.
