West Virginia (7-3, 44-32) responded in the second with a pair of runs, as
Hagerstown added three more in their half of the second, chasing Bolton from the game after just two innings, tied for the shortest start of his career. The right-hander surrendered a career-high six runs on seven hits while striking out four and walking one.
The Power was able to scratch two runs across in the seventh against Carlos Acevedo (S, 2), with five of the first six batters to face Acevedo doing all the damage.
