WHAT'S NEW AT ARVEST BALLPARK

SPRINGDALE, Ark - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are excited to announce 'What's New' at Arvest Ballpark for the upcoming 2018 season of Naturals baseball as the organization remains committed to keeping Arvest Ballpark a popular destination for affordable family fun throughout the summer. Ballpark additions have been made each off-season to enhance the overall fan experience and to keep the ballpark functioning at the highest level.
THEME NIGHTS
Fans will notice a theme when it comes to the promotional schedule and that's the addition of Theme Nights during the summer designed for the whole family to enjoy. Theme nights begin with the highly anticipated arrival of Star Wars Night on a Fireworks Friday presented by The Northwest Company on May 4. June will then feature the return of Superhero Night on a Fireworks Friday presented by Arkansas Children's Northwest featuring a Kids Cape Giveaway on June 29. The month of July will feature an entire themed weekend beginning on Friday, July 20 through Sunday, July 22. July 20 is our Military Appreciation Night on a Fireworks Friday presented by Black Hills Energy, followed by the debut of Princess & Cowboy Night on Saturday, July 21 by Marco's Pizza before the weekend concludes with our First Responders Day by Slim Chickens on Kids Eat FREE Family Sunday. The theme night schedule will then conclude with the first Harry Potter Night on a Fireworks Friday presented by SeaPak on August 24. In addition, the games on April 20 and July 13 will include fireworks and a special appearance by Nickelodeon's Shimmer and Shine (April 20) and Marshall (July 13) from Nickelodeon's Paw Patrol.

FAMILY 4-PACKS
Special family 4-packs will also be introduced for select theme nights throughout the season. The NEW Star Wars Night 4-Pack, introduced in February, sold out within the first two weeks of being on sale while the Naturals will also offer 4-packs for both Nickelodeon character appearances on April 20 and July 13 where fans will receive four tickets, a VIP meet and greet, two collectible toys, and be given the opportunity to watch the post-game Fireworks from the Naturals dugout. Superhero Night and Princess & Cowboy Night will also be accompanied with a 4-packs that will include tickets and special VIP opportunities for those that purchase. NEW FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPTIONS
Each off-season Patina Restaurant Group, the official caterer of Arvest Ballpark, adds new items to their expansive menu of food and beverage choices for fans. This year is no different as Patina Restaurant Group will continue making the ballpark favorites while introducing some new items that'll be a hit. Looking for dessert? Check out the Sweet Spot and enjoy an Apple, Blueberry or Blackberry Fruit Pie Milkshake. In addition to the popular BBQ Nachos, Chicken Tender Baskets, Funnel Dogs and standard ballpark fare found at the concessions stands, high-quality and made-to-order menu items like the Texas League Squealer, The Smokey, The Juicy Lucy and the Jumbo Hot Dog will continue to be a focus at the Naturals Grill Carts. Fans should be on the lookout for NEW items to hit our concourse grills like the Grilled Pimento Cheese and Bacon Sandwiches and the Juicy Ruby, which is a pimento cheese and bacon stuffed burger. For the first time, Yuengling will be available to fans at Arvest Ballpark while Strawberry Margaritas will be found in the Bullpen Craft Beer Bar. That area also has enhanced the points of sale to ease the fan experience during our popular Saturday Happy Hour events, which take place from 4:35-5:35pm each Saturday home game. During June of our 2018 season, we will also debut the Dugout Grill, a specialty food concept located near the Community Room, which will have a rotating menu of special burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches.
BULLPEN CRAFT BEER BAR
The Naturals continue to enhance the right field picnic area near The Bullpen concessions stand that is located down the first base line. The Bullpen Craft Beer Bar now features over 100 different beverage choices from large American and European breweries to small Local Craft breweries. We also carry a selection of Hard Ciders, Teas and Lemonades. Fans will find an improved dining area with wider rail and 85 custom chairs that have been added to the tiered seating in right field that is adjacent to our Bullpen Craft Beer Bar and concessions stand.
ENHANCED KIDS EAT FREE MEAL
Kids Eat FREE Family Sundays featuring Mercy Kids Run the Bases will return again this season. NEW for 2018 will be an enhanced Kids Eat FREE meal because of a partnership with Mondelez International. This year, all kids 12 and under in attendance on Sundays will receive a voucher as they enter the gates of Arvest Ballpark that can be redeemed at the main concessions stands for a FREE Hot Dog, Animal Crackers, Swedish Fish, and small 12 oz. soda.
NEW MERCHANDISE IN NATURALS TEAM STORE
The Naturals Team Store continues to add new merchandise to their inventory each and every year for fans to enjoy. Fans are invited to check out their massive selection of Naturals caps from New Era and Outdoor Cap as well as the latest gear from Columbia, Comfort Colors, Nike and Under Armour. NEW in 2018 is a local section where fans can check out locally produced items from Be Unlimited in Fayetteville and OC Sports in Bentonville. In addition to Naturals items, the Naturals Team Store has one of the largest selections of Kansas City Royals gear in Northwest Arkansas. While the Naturals are away, the Naturals Team Store at Arvest Ballpark is open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Fans can also shop online at www.nwanaturals.com/teamstore. The Team Store remains open throughout the entirety of each home game.
The 2018 season of Naturals baseball at Arvest Ballpark will begin when Northwest Arkansas hosts the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Double-A Affiliate of the World Champion Houston Astros, on Thursday, April 5 at 6:25 p.m.
