Rattlers Snap Streak with 3-1 win over Clinton

Starting pitcher Nelson Hernández allowed a run over six innings and received enough offensive support in a 3-1 over the Clinton LumberKings at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers got what they needed on Tuesday night to snap a ten-game losing streak. Starting pitcher Nelson Hernández allowed a run over six innings and received enough offensive support in a 3-1 over the Clinton LumberKings at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
Wisconsin (4-14) took the lead with a two-out rally in the bottom of the second inning.
The Rattlers added to their lead in the third inning without a hit.
Clinton (11-4) got on the scoreboard in the top of the sixth inning. Hernández walked
Hernández pitched six innings, scattered six hits, walked one, and struck out five in the game. His performance put him in line for his second win of the season.
The LumberKings stranded seven runners, went 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position, and hit into two double plays in the game as they saw their seven-game winning streak come to an end
Game three of the series is Wednesday night at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
