Brandon Woodruff struck out nine batters, but the Oklahoma City Dodgers pulled out a 4-0 victory in a rain-shortened game three of the four-game series in front of 9,641 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark Saturday night. 

Brandon Woodruff struck out nine batters, but the Oklahoma City Dodgers pulled out a 4-0 victory in a rain-shortened game three of the four-game series in front of 9,641 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark Saturday night. 

The 2016 Minor League leader in strikeouts increased his 2017 total to 59 through 11 starts, striking out two Dodgers in the first, second and fifth innings, as well as striking out the side in the fourth inning.
The nine punchouts by Woodruff marks the most tallied by a Sky Sox pitcher in 2017, surpassing the eight set by both Josh Hader on May 8 at home against Fresno and Woodruff on May 18 in El Paso.
The Sky Sox (31-21) look to secure another series win in the final game of the season in Oklahoma City Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. MT. LHP Josh Hader (3-4, 5.58) squares off with RHP Justin Masterson (4-2, 2.98).
