Yadier Molina scheduled to rehab with Memphis

MEMPHIS, TN – St. Louis Cardinal catcher Yadier Molina is scheduled to appear with the Memphis Redbirds on Thursday, July 28 at AutoZone Park for an MLB Rehab assignment.

Molina, who has announced that this will be his final MLB season, was hitting .213 with two home runs and 10 RBIs in 136 at-bats over 40 games when he left the team. He was placed on the injured list on June 17 with right knee inflammation. In his 19th season with the Cardinals, Molina is the only player in MLB history to catch 2,000 or more career games for one team.
