Hartford Yard Goats Beat Former Major League Pitcher
Manchester, NH- The Hartford Yard Goats (2-6) used a four-run fifth inning to break a tie and defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (6-2) by the score of 8-5 on Friday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, New Hampshire. It was the home opener for the Fisher Cats who celebrated their 15th season in the Eastern League.

The Fisher Cats tied the game with a run in the second inning and two in the third off Hartford starter Jesus Tinoco.
The Yard Goats put together their most productive offense inning of the season in the fifth and scored four runs, knocking Fisher Cats starter Nick Tepesch out the game.
The Yard Goats continue their two-city seven game road trip and play the second of a 3-game series against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Saturday night at 6:35 PM. RHP
