The Chiefs came out swinging against Wisconsin starter
Ynfante led off the third inning with his first homer since May 5 and his third in a Chiefs uniform this season. The solo blast put the Chiefs up 2-0 and with two outs Donovan beat the shift with a single to left.
After
Schmid (5-5) allowed one run on five hits, four hits and a triple, over 6 1/3 innings to earn the win. The win is the second this week for Schmid and the lefty struck out six while walking two.
The series continues Sunday at 1:05 p.m. and the Chiefs will host a watch party for all fans at the Bullpen Bar & Grill inside Landmark.
