RHP Zack Burdi, who went 0-1 with a 4.26 ERA in five games with the Knights this season (6.1 IP, 11 SO), was recalled by the Chicago White Sox to serve as the team's 27th man for their straight doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday.Burdi, a member of Chicago’s 40-man roster, entered the 2021 season ranked by MLB.com as the 15th best prospect in the White Sox system. He made eight appearances with the Chicago White Sox in 2020 and went 0-1 with an 11.05 ERA (7.1 IP, 11 SO). He was originally selected by the White Sox in the first round (26th overall) of the 2016 First-Year Player Draft.
