BRADY SINGER NAMED TEXAS LEAGUE PITCHER OF THE WEEK

SPRINGDALE, Ark - The Texas League announced the circuit's Pitcher and Player of the Week honors for the week of July 22^nd through July 28^th and right-hander Brady Singer of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals has been selected as the league's top pitcher for the week. The honor is the first for Singer.
During his award-winning week, the former 18^th overall selection in the 2018 first-year player draft made two starts against the Amarillo Sod Poodles (Double-A San Diego Padres) on Monday, July 22^nd and Sunday, July 28^th. In the two outings, the first on the road and second at home, he went 1-0 while giving up three runs (two earned) on nine hits with 12 strikeouts and three walks in 12.1 innings pitched.

It marks the 27^th time in franchise-history that a Northwest Arkansas Naturals' pitcher has earned the Texas League's Pitcher of the Week honor and the first since right-hander Ofreidy Gomez received the honor earlier this year for his outstanding performance during the week of April 15^th through April 21^st.
Former catcher Meibrys Viloria was the Texas League Player of the Week for June 3^rd through June 9^th.
Nate Mondou of the Midland RockHounds (Double-A Oakland Athletics) was the Texas League Player of the Week after hitting .429 with a home run, two doubles, and four RBIs in six games for the 'Hounds.
