NATURALS NO-HIT BY TRAVELERS IN 6-0 LOSS

Naturals draw four walks, but unable to find a hit.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR ­– The Northwest Arkansas Naturals drew four walks, but were unable to collect a hit, no-hit for the second time in franchise history by the Arkansas Travelers, 6-0 Friday night.

Left fielder Tyler Gentry drew two of the four walks, getting on base in the first and ninth innings. Angelo Castellano walked in the third, while Robbie Glendinning drew a base-on-balls in the seventh inning.

Naturals starting pitcher Dante Biasi took his fourth loss of the season, allowing just two runs on two hits over 4.0 innings while walking four.

Asa Lacy, Nate Webb and Kasey Kalich combined for 4.0 innings of relief behind Biasi, allowing four runs on five hits with three walks.

Friday night marked the second time Northwest Arkansas had been no-hit, the first being May 17, 2016 by the Arkansas Travelers as well, though in that game the Naturals only drew one walk.

Right-hander Prelander Berroa struck out 11 Naturals over 5.0 innings and was followed by single innings from Blake Weiman, Jake Haberer, Rob Kaminsky and Braden Shipley.

Northwest Arkansas will try and avoid a series loss Saturday at 7:05 p.m. CT, as right-hander Andrew Hoffmann takes the mound for the Naturals at Dickey-Stephens Park.
