Palm Beach walks-off with win over Tampa

The comeback Cardinals struck again on Monday night in a walk-off 7-6 series opening victory over the Tampa Tarpons.
Palm Beach had Adam Wainwright throw the first inning on an MLB rehab assignment. The three-time All-Star threw a scoreless inning and struck out two.
The Cardinals opened the scoring in the bottom half of the first with an Elehuris Montero RBI single. 
Ian Oxnevad came into the game in the second and started his appearnce with four scorless innings. 
With Palm Beach up 4-0 in the sixth after an RBI ground out from Conner Capel and RBI base hits from Kramer Robertson and Irving Lopez, the lead evaporated into thin air.
Tampa scored four times in sixth, knotting the score back at four.
Palm Beach took the lead right back in the bottom half of the frame via a Bryce Denton two-out RBI infield single.
Montero, in the seventh, hit his first home run with Palm Beach to extend the lead to 6-4 and give the Cardinals what would turn out to be a much needed insurance run.
Tampa led off the ninth with a solo home run and scored the tying run with two outs on a wild pitch. 
In the 10th, Bryan Dobzanski got his opposition to fly out to left, not allowing the automatic runner to advance. The next batter lined into a 5-6 double play with Montero's throw narrowly beating the Tarpons' baserunner.
In the bottom half of the 10th, Conner Capel hit a ground ball to short with the fielder wanting to throw to third and get the lead runner Dylan Carlson out. The throw was wild, and Carlson was able to round home and score the game winning run.
Montero had a game high three htis with José Godoy, Bryce Denton, Kramer Robertson and Irving Lopez each adding three hits.
