After Daytona took a 2-1 lead in the fourth inning, the constant drizzle all night did not seem to bother the Cardinals after Palm Beach put up a six spot in the sixth to take a commanding 7-2 lead.

The Tortugas scored a single run in each the seventh and eighth inning cutting the Cardinals lead to 7-4.
In the home half of that eighth inning, Palm Beach scored three more insurance runs and put the game away for good.
All nine players in the starting lineup recorded a hit with Kirtley, Baker and Denton both recording multi-hit games. Denton had a game high three RBI. In addition to their two base hits, Baker and Kirtley reached base via a walk twice.
