Beeker threw a complete game shutout on July 29th vs. Clinton, allowing just five hits and striking out seven while issuing no walks. The Twins selected Beeker in the 33rd round of the 2016 First Year Player Draft out of Davidson College.
Beeker is the fourth Kernel this season to receive Midwest League weekly honors, joining
The Kernels continue a seven-game home stand tonight at 6:35 PM vs. Clinton. Gates open at 5:30 PM and the current home stand continues through Friday, August 4th.
