Lee Locks Down BC® Relief Pitcher Award

Lee, 24, earns the recognition after spinning 10.0 scoreless innings for Jacksonville across nine July outings, converting all three save opportunities in the process. The Dinuba, California native faced just five batters over the minimum last month, surrendering only three hits and one walk while recording 13 strikeouts. His 0.40 WHIP and .091 (3-33) opponents' batting average were both among the lowest in the Southern League.
Following 12 consecutive scoreless outings in the Southern League, the Miami Marlins promoted Lee to Triple-A New Orleans on July 28. Overall this season, the Fresno State University product has combined to post a 7-2 record alongside a 0.94 ERA (5 ER/48.0 IP) across three levels in the Marlins farm system.
Miami selected Lee in the 10th round of the 2016 MLB Amateur Draft. He made 19 starts for the Lo-A Greensboro Grasshoppers last year before converting to a reliever ahead of the 2018 season.
