Heredia, a starting outfielder for the Pioneer League in last Tuesday's Pioneer League-Northwest League All-Star Game, batted a league-leading .429 in July with 11 doubles, a triple and four home runs. He drove in 17 runs and scored 21 times in 19 games after being promoted to Ogden from the Arizona League Dodgers on July 5. The 11 doubles led the circuit, as did Heredia's .732 slugging percentage and 1.221 OPS.
"We're very proud of Starling," Raptors manager Mark Kertenian said. "He worked very hard to get here and move past here, and it's very well deserved. He's a great player and an awesome teammate."
Ogden hitting coach Justin Viele added, "His work in the cage and his routine were consistent every single day he was here. His approach in-game was the best I've seen over the last six months.
The 18-year-old Heredia was promoted by the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Class-A Midwest League Great Lakes Loons following the August 1 All-Star Game.
