Gatewood, 22, earns Player of the Week honors after posting a league-high seven extra-base hits and 22 total bases across just six games while pacing the circuit with a .917 slugging percentage. The Visalia, California native also ranked among the league leaders in a number of offensive categories, including hits (9, T-3rd), doubles (4, T-1st), home runs (3, T-1st), RBI (9, 2nd), and OPS (1.361, 2nd).

Selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the first round (no. 41 overall) of the 2014 MLB Amateur Draft, Gatewood ranks among the Southern League leaders this season with nine home runs (T-2nd) and 32 RBIs (3rd). He is currently listed as Milwaukee's no. 17 prospect by MLB Pipeline.

Duplantier, 23, is named Pitcher of the Week after a pair of starts in which he posted a 1-0 record and a composite 1.59 ERA (2 ER/11.1 IP). Allowing just five hits and recording 10 strikeouts, the Rice University product registered a 0.97 WHIP this week while limiting opponents to a .139 batting average (5-for-36).
Selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the third round (no. 89 overall) of the 2016 MLB Amateur Draft, the talented righty ranks among the Southern League's top starting pitchers following his Generals debut. Since April 21 (seven starts), Duplantier has recorded a 2.52 ERA (7th among all qualified starters) with 41 strikeouts (6th) alongside a 1.12 WHIP (6th) and a .221 opponent batting average (5th).
