Jordan Gore joins Kernels from Elizabethton

The Twins selected Gore in the 19th round of the 2017 First Year Player Draft out of Costal Carolina. In 18 games at Elizabethton, he hit .389 (28-72) with five doubles, a HR and 16 RBI.
Munoz played 29 games for the Kernels, batting .240 (23-96) with 2 HR and 12 RBI. He was signed by the Twins as a non-drafted free agent on April 12, 2014.
Gore is active and available for tonight's 6:35 PM home game against the Kane County Cougars. With today's transactions, the Kernels roster is at the Midwest League maximum of 25 active players, with five players currently on the DL and one player currently on the military leave list.
The Kernels continue a seven-game home stand tonight against the Kane County Cougars with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 PM. The current home stand continues through Friday, August 4th.
