LumberKings outlast Snappers in 5-4 win

BELOIT, WI (August 12, 2017) - For just the second time in 2017 the Clinton LumberKings dropped the Beloit Snappers at Harry Pohlman Field, taking a 5-4 win on Saturday night.
Clinton built a 5-0 lead before the Snappers (26-21, 58-58) offense game alive late in the game.
The LumberKings scored their next two runs against Beloit starter
Altamirano (7-4) was given the loss for Beloit for a five-inning outing in which he allowed four runs on nine hits, his first loss in four appearances against the LumberKings this season.
In the top of the sixth, Dimas Ojeda tallied the final score of the game for Clinton. Ojeda led off the inning with a solo home run to right, his third of the season.
Beloit began their charge in the bottom of the sixth inning.
