The 22-year-old Jacob, drafted by Toronto in the 32nd round in 2016 from Quincy University, played the last three weeks of the season with the Lugnuts, batting .288 with three homers and 14 RBIs in 18 games.
In his final seven games of the year, Jacob earned the honor by collecting 11 hits in 27 at-bats for a .407 average, with one double, two home runs, a .484 on-base percentage, and a .667 slugging percentage.
He becomes the second Lugnut to receive a weekly award from the MWL, joining
