KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (July 4, 2017) -- The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have promoted outfielder Tyler Sullivan to the Class A-Advanced Winston-Salem Dash, his first promotion to the Carolina League. In a corresponding move, Kannapolis has reinstated outfielder Antonio Rodriguez off the disabled list prior to Tuesday's 7:00 p.m. game at Hickory. 
Sullivan, 24, is batting .237 (36-152) with five doubles, 13 RBI, 15 runs scored, and five stolen bases in 45 games for the South Atlantic League Northern Division First Half champion Intimidators. He is coming off a month of June in which he hit .265 (9-34) in 10 games. The outfielder has provided Kannapolis a strong defensive presence at both centerfield and corner outfield positions in 2017. Sullivan, the White Sox 14th round pick in the June 2015 First-Year Player Draft, joined the Intimidators in 2016 and served as the team's everyday centerfielder and leadoff man, batting .255 (130-510) with 21 doubles, five triples, two home runs, 40 RBI, 65 runs scored and 31 stolen bases in 130 games. 
Rodriguez, 22, has appeared in 41 games for Kannapolis this seaosn, primarily as the team's designated hitter. He is batting .209 (32-153) with 11 doubles, three triples, two home runs, 19 RBI, 17 runs scored, and a stolen base this season. 
The Intimidators open a 3-game series at the Hickory Crawdads on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at L.P. Frans Stadium. Kannapolis returns to Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System on Friday, July 7, to open a 4-game series against the Hagerstown Suns.
