KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (June 3, 2017) - The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have promoted right-handed pitcher Lane Hobbs to the Class A-Advanced Winston-Salem Dash. There is no corresponding move at this time.Hobbs, 22, is 2-0 with a 3.55 ERA (10 ER/25.1 IP) and 24 strikeouts

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (June 3, 2017) - The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have promoted right-handed pitcher Lane Hobbs to the Class A-Advanced Winston-Salem Dash. There is no corresponding move at this time.
Hobbs, 22, is 2-0 with a 3.55 ERA (10 ER/25.1 IP) and 24 strikeouts in 16 games (one starts) with Kannapolis. He is coming off a solid month in which he went 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA (5 ER/15.0 IP) in eight games (one start) in May. The White Sox selected Hobbs in the 18th round of the June 2016 First-Year Player Draft out of Concordia University in Austin, Texas, where he was named the D3Baseball.com West Region Pitcher of the Year. 
Kannapolis has promoted three players this season to Winston-Salem as Hobbs joins pitcher Dane Dunning  and Luis Martinez in moving up the ladder within the organization.
