Kwan Adkins hit a ball over the glove of the first basemanYorman Rodriguez all the way to the warning track in right field for his second triple of the game, forcing Vancouver'sGrant Townsend to leave the game after throwing 4.1 innings pitched.
- Four batters later, against relieverParker Caracci , catcherRicardo Genoves hits a fly ball to right field that looked to be over the wall at first but will hit the wall and score Adkins,Simon Whiteman andSean Roby for a 3-0 Volcano lead.
- In the bottom of the seventh, with Alex Canario at first, Roby hits a well-hit ball to right-center field, scoring Canario for his second triple of the year to make it 4-0.
- Later in the inning, withFranklin Labour at the plate, a wild pitch byJosh Almonte gets past the catcherBrett Wright , which allows Roby to score from third and make it 5-0 Volcanoes.
