Star Wars Returns to Chihuahuas 2022 Theme Night Lineup

EL PASO – February 16, 2022 – “Always in motion is the future” and the future is here as the Chihuahuas announce the return of Star Wars Night to the 2022 season theme night lineup for the first time since the 2019 campaign.
The theme night season kicks off with Opening Day, scheduled for April 12 versus the Los Angeles Dodgers affiliate, Oklahoma City. First pitch is slated for 6:35 p.m. The Chihuahuas are calling on all guests in attendance to RED OUT Southwest University Park to open the theme night slate.
The team will play in El Paso on Easter Sunday (April 17) to celebrate the holiday season along with Father’s Day and Juneteenth (June 19), and games leading up to Memorial Day and Labor Day.
The Chihuahuas will have two mid-week day baseball games - April 27 & May 25 - days that also feature Baseball in Education presented by Texas Gas Service.
GECU Independence Day includes a three-day celebration featuring specialty jerseys and the largest Fireworks Spectacular in the region.
Grab the leash and bring your furry best canine friend as GECU Bark at the Park returns on Sunday, May 15, Sunday, July 17, and Friday, September 2.
The theme night season closes out with Fan Appreciation Day on Friday, September 23.
More announcements on promotions will be made as the season approaches and promotions and dates of promotions are subject to change without notice.

Individual game tickets for the 2022 regular season will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 25 beginning at 10 a.m. online. Purchasers who buy in advance will enjoy savings on reserved seating versus purchasing on the day of the game. All online purchases are subject to online purchase fees.
