Fresno, CA - This morning, the Fresno Grizzlies, in conjunction with Fresno Street Eats, announced that Cypress Hill will headline the 12th iteration of Taco Truck Throwdown, Fresno’s world-famous taco festival. The 3-time Grammy-nominated group, known for hits such as “Insane in the Brain,” “Tequila Sunrise,” and more, will take the stage on October 21 surrounded by the best taco trucks the Central Valley has to offer. Coming off of one of the most successful early bird sales periods in the event’s history, tickets for the 2023 version of Taco Truck Throwdown are going fast.

“The level of talent at Taco Truck Throwdown gets better year after year and, by bringing in Cypress Hill, we feel the bar has been raised yet again,” said Derek Franks, president of the Fresno Grizzlies. “The buzz around Taco Truck Throwdown 12’s early bird ticket offer has been incredible over the past couple of weeks, and we are ready for this year’s event to be one of the biggest in recent memory.”

As with every year, Taco Truck Throwdown will transform Chukchansi Park into the epicenter of entertainment, food, and drinks on October 21. Featuring over 20 Taco Trucks, 10 Michelada stands, dozens of vendors, and much more to be announced later, Taco Truck Throwdown promises to activate the entire ballpark while entertaining fans of all ages.
