Phillies’ Bryson Stott drove in five runs on three singles in a high-scoring victory for Peoria. Every Javelinas batter got a hit and the top three hitters all recorded three-hit games. Pittsburgh’s Nick Gonzales (No. 4) hit a triple and drove in three runs as the leadoff hitter, Stott (No. 2) scored two runs from the two-spot and Philadelphia’s Logan O’Hoppe (No. 11) scored a run on three singles hitting third. Stott leads Peoria with 18 hits in 12 AFL games and has an impressive .409/.517/.568 slash line with a 1.085 OPS.

Surprise 8, Scottsdale 4
Nationals’ Cole Henry (No. 7) took the AFL strikeout lead by fanning six batters over four innings for Surprise, allowing one run on two hits. The 22-year-old’s whiff total sits at 21 -- two higher than Phillies’ Hans Crouse -- and he has a 3.75 ERA with a .163 average against in 12 innings. The Saguaros used Henry’s strong start to jump out to a 4-0 lead through six innings and scored four runs in the seventh to ice the win. Royals’ slugger Seuly Matias crushed his fifth AFL long ball in a three-hit day to move into a tie for the league home run lead.

Three of the Desert Dogs’ five hits came off the bats of two Dodgers prospects. Jacob Amaya (No. 14) tallied a double and a single, both of which tied the game. The shortstop’s second-inning double scored a run on an error and his sixth-inning RBI single knotted the game at four. Amaya has an .868 OPS through nine Fall League games. James Outman (No. 27) launched a third-inning solo home run, his third of the Fall League. The 24-year-old has a slash line of .276/.400/.655 with a 1.055 OPS and five extra-base hits in 10 games.
