(Reading, PA) – The Reading Fightin Phils are excited to honor the Reading High School Red Knights Basketball team on Friday, April 14 for their recent PIAA State Championship. Reading defeated Roman Catholic in overtime on March 25th to capture the 6-A state title.
The Red Knights had an impressive 32-1 season and showcased an impressive run through the state playoffs. The R-Phils look forward to honoring them on their accomplishment prior to next Friday’s matchup against the Hartford Yard Goats (Rockies). First pitch for the game is set for 6:45 p.m. and the ceremony will take place on the field prior to first pitch.
