Reno, Nev. – After dropping four out of six matchups to the Salt Lake Bees this past week, the Reno Aces (35-40) return to Greater Nevada Field to open the second half of the 2024 season by hosting the Oklahoma City Baseball Club (40-35), the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, with the series set to kick off on Tuesday, June 25th at 6:35 p.m. PT.

Reno and Oklahoma City previously played a six-game series at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in late May, which ended in a split. The upcoming matchup at Greater Nevada Field will conclude the Aces' season series against the Oklahoma City Baseball Club.

Keep an eye out for Andre Lipicus and James Outman on Oklahoma City's roster. These players have been making waves with their exceptional skills and impressive performances.

Lipicus, a formidable force at the plate, showcased his skills in the previous meeting, amassing eight hits in 23 at-bats (.348) with a double, a home run, and four RBI. Currently tied for first place in hits (87) in the Pacific Coast League with Reno's own Adrian Del Castillo, Lipicus has been a standout performer, boasting a slash line of .305/.377/.574 with 18 doubles, 18 home runs, and 58 RBI in 284 at-bats.

Outman, who spent time with the Dodgers earlier in the season, has been on fire since his demotion to Triple-A Oklahoma City. The outfielder is hitting .295/.413/.554 with 14 extra-base hits, 18 RBI, and 19 walks in 138 plate appearances. Outman was an on-base machine against Reno in the previous series, going 6-for-18 (.333) with eight walks and reaching base at a .556 clip.

Del Castillo, a key player in the Aces lineup, was efficient against the Baseball Club, registering seven base knocks with a double, a home run, and five RBI. Undoubtedly the most impressive hitter in the Aces lineup and arguably in the entire PCL this season, Del Castillo leads the league in doubles (28), extra-base hits (44), and OPS (.991). As the second half of the season kicks off, the Miami native's performance is a beacon of hope for the team's success.

Humberto Castellanos was dominant in his lone outing against Oklahoma City this season. The right-hander limited the Baseball Club to two runs on only two hits and one walk across a season-high six frames, punching out nine. Castellanos is recently coming off a solid outing against the Salt Lake Bees, where he worked for five 2/3 innings, allowing only two runs with six strikeouts. He holds onto a 4.94 ERA and a 61:27 K: BB in 54 2/3 innings into the upcoming series.
