PLEASE NOTE: Even if there is rain in the forecast, the Red Wings will almost never postpone a game prior to gates opening. It is always our intention to do everything we can to make sure a game is played.
A rain delay is when the game is delayed due to weather, but play is expected to continue later that day/night. Tickets cannot be exchanged in the event of a rain delay.
A rain out is when a game is postponed due to weather prior to completing five innings. When this happens, the game is usually rescheduled into a doubleheader the next time the two teams meet. However, your ticket(s) will be good for any regular season game that same season (see Rain Out Ticket Policy below).
In the event five innings of a game are not completed, except when the home team is in the lead at the end of 4-1/2 innings, your ticket will be good for any regular season home game that season and must be exchanged at the Red Wings Ticket Office for a ticket of equal or lesser value, subject to availability. No refunds will be given.
All ticket exchanges must be made at the Innovative Field Ticket Office (online exchanges are not available). Please note that these exchanges do not have to be made immediately.
If you had a catered event at the ballpark, a Red Wings representative will reach out to your group leader.
Fans who pay for parking in the lots AA & D for a Red Wings game that gets postponed before first pitch may use their receipt to park for FREE at any remaining home game.
