Want your chance to walk away from an Express game a little richer? The Nolan Ryan Foundation, Cook-Walden Funeral Homes & Cemeteries and the Round Rock Express host a 50/50 Raffle every home game at Dell Diamond.
Half of the net proceeds from 50/50 Raffle ticket sales each night goes to one lucky fan while the other half goes back to the Nolan Ryan Foundation. Fans can purchase raffle tickets from the time the gates open until the end of the sixth inning. The winner is announced each night during the seventh inning.
At the end of the season, the Nolan Ryan Foundation donates the 50/50 proceeds to several Central Texas nonprofit organizations through the Foundation’s community grant program. Every night is a new chance to not only win, but help a great cause in the process.
Tickets can be purchased at the 50/50 Raffle kiosk on the concourse behind home plate or from one of the roaming vendors throughout the stadium. All raffle ticket purchases must be made with cash or a debit card. Credit cards are not accepted, per state law.
The Nolan Ryan Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization formed in Alvin, Texas in 1990 to provide resources for youth, education and community development. The first project for the Foundation was the construction of the $1.2 million Nolan Ryan Center, which was completed and donated to Alvin Community College in 1996.
In 2016, the Foundation relocated to Round Rock, Texas and diligently continues to support its mission. Over the last decade, the Nolan Ryan Foundation has provided $4.2 million in scholarships, donations and community grants. For more information, please visit the Nolan Ryan Foundation website.
"Giving back and being involved in our community is something we take seriously. Our commitment to building enduring relationships and living out our vision of celebrating life through support of youth, the arts, veterans and our community is why we are honored to partner with the Nolan Ryan Foundation for the 50/50 raffle. We are proud to be part of this great event, which supports such worthy organizations chosen by the Nolan Ryan Foundation. This raffle is truly a community coming together every night for the support of many."
