Series Finale at Myrtle Beach Rained Out
Game to be made up in Salem in June
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (May 1, 2016) - The series finale between the Salem Red Sox and the Myrtle Beach Pelicans scheduled for Sunday evening was postponed due to inclement weather in the Myrtle Beach area.
The Red Sox are not scheduled to return to Myrtle Beach in the first half so the game will be made up as part of a doubleheader when the Pelicans visit Salem from June 1-3 at LewisGale Field. The official make-up time and date will be announced at a later time.
Salem now returns home for a brief three-game homestand against the Carolina Mudcats. First pitch on Monday at Salem Memorial Ballpark is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Fans can follow along with all the action on the Salem Red Sox Baseball Network, starting with pregame coverage at 6:45.
