OKLAHOMA CITY--Aaron Wilkerson fanned 10 batters over five innings to help lead the Missions to their third victory in four games on Sunday afternoon at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
The 29-year old Wilkerson fell one strikeout shy of matching his career high as he cuffed the Dodger hitters by limiting them to a single run and four base runners in his first outing of the season.
Keston Hiura double home a run in the top of the third inning and Tyrone Taylor followed with a two-run triple to open the scoring in the contest.
Tyler Saladino homered to center field in the sixth inning off former Mission Kevin Quackenbush to make it a 4-1 game.
Taylor's performance continued a scintillating start for the Brewers #29-rated prospect. He's hit safely in all four games and has driven in runs in each game as well. Five of his 15 hits have gone for extra bases.
The clubs complete their five-game series with a morning game before the Missions play their home opener against Memphis on Tuesday night.
