TOP PERFORMERS
Ruff produced his longest outing of the season, pitching into the eighth inning and allowing just one run and one walk while striking out eight. The 24-year-old improved his record to 3-1 and lowered his ERA to a sterling 2.31.
Drew Romo doubled and scored in the first to give the Indians an early lead. Colorado's No. 2 prospect is currently riding a nine-game hitting streak and leads the NWL with a .342 average.
Luke Taggart struck out three over 1.2 scoreless innings of relief to pick up his third save of the season. The right-hander out of Oklahoma has yet to allow a run in 13 innings this season.

After doubling and reaching third base on sac bunt from Julio Carreras in the second inning, Daniel Montano scored what proved to be the game-winning run after an errant pick-off attempt bounced off his helmet and into left field.
