Despite the loss, the Indians (26-19) remain 2.5 games up on Eugene for the Northwest League's top spot.

TOP PERFORMERS

Chase Dollander (1-1) didn't have his best stuff but kept the Indians in the game with a workmanlike performance: 5 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 6 K. The right-hander out of Tennessee leads the Northwest League in strikeouts (60) and ranks tenth in WHIP (1.25) after eight starts spanning 39.1 innings this season.

Kyle Karros had two hits and two RBIs while Cole Carrigg and Dyan Jorge both finished with a pair of hits in the loss.

Bullpen ace Carson Skipper tossed a scoreless ninth inning to lower his ERA to a miniscule 0.43 in 19 appearances with Spokane this year.
