DAYTONA, Fla. (August 26, 2019) - One night after erasing a seven-run deficit, the Daytona Tortugas came from four runs back to defeat the St. Lucie Mets 6-5 on Tuesday at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.

The Mets entered the fifth inning down 1-0 but scored all five of their runs in the frame to take a 5-1 lead. Zach Ashford ripped a two-run single to put the Mets ahead 2-1.
The Tortugas immediately began their charge in the bottom of the fifth.

Rennie took the loss. He was charged with six runs (three earned) over 5.2 innings.
Ashford went 4 for 5 with three singles, a double, two RBI, a run and a stolen base. It was his second start for St. Lucie after being called up from the GCL on Monday.
