HitTrax Data Capture & Simulation System
The Smokies Stadium Performance Center features one state-of-the art HitTrax Data Capture & Simulation System. HitTrax is a multi-use system that can be used for analytics when training hitters and pitchers, simulating full baseball games or HR derbies for indoor recreational leagues, storing statistics for tracking progress over time, high speed video analysis and capture, and much more. The system allows you to simulate hitting in any Major League Baseball ballpark as well as some college stadiums. The fence distances and game difficulty can be adjusted to meet the skill level of any player and any age.

Lessons
Looking to teach or get lessons at the Smokies Stadium Performance Center? All instructors have access to use the HitTrax Data Capture & Simulation to enhance their instructional value. HitTrax allows you to not only track advanced statistics such as launch angle, exit velocity, hard hit average, and distance, but also allows you to save the analysis over time for each student on the HitTrax data cloud. Open Play
Batting cage #1 in the Smokies Stadium Performance Center is outfitted with the HitTrax Data Capture & Simulation System. When renting this cage, you are given full access to HitTrax open play which gives you the ability to simulate hitting in any Major League Baseball ballpark and some college stadiums. The system will also track analytics such as launch angle, exit velocity, hard hit average, distance, and more.
