BILOXI, MS - The Tennessee Smokies were defeated by the Shuckers on Friday night, 8-2, in Biloxi. It was Tennessee's fourth loss in-a-row and their third to Biloxi.
A scoreless game through three innings, the Smokies got on the board in the top of the fourth.
Tennessee added to its one run lead in the seventh inning when with two outs, Martinez hit his seventh home run of the season over the wall in center to put the Smokies up 2-0.
Offensively, the Smokies totaled seven hits in the game.
