Smokies drop series finale against Barons

The Tennessee Smokies fell to the Birmingham Barons 5-2 on Sunday afternoon. Tennessee splits the series with the Barons.

Antonio Santos got the start for Tennessee, working five innings while surrendering seven hits and four runs. The Smokies got good innings from their bullpen, but the offense could not come around.

Matt Shaw and Haydn McGeary picked up the only RBIs of the day and Jonathon Long had a three-hit day in the losing effort.
