The Tennessee Smokies lost to the Biloxi Shuckers 4-3 in 11 innings on Thursday against Biloxi.

The Smokies (35-25) led the game by one three separate times and were an out away from winning but Ernesto Martinez Jr. was able to beat out a double play with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game for Biloxi (24-35).

Christian Franklin went 3-for-4 in the game and reached base five times scoring twice. Moises Ballesteros had two RBIs.

Blake Holub (1-1) got the win and Dalton Moats (0-1) took the loss.

The two teams will meet again on Friday at 7:35 ET.
