The Tennessee Smokies came from behind on Wednesday night to beat the Montgomery Biscuits 4-2.
The Biscuits (6-5) scored the first two runs in the game, but the Smokies (6-4) scored the final four to take a 2-0 series lead.
The Smokies scored their first run in the fifth inning on a home run by Hayden Cantrelle (2). It was his second straight game with a home run.
Tennessee tied the game in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly from James Triantos and took the lead in the seventh when Kevin Alcantara hit his first home run of the year.
Eduarniel Nunez (1-0) pitched three scoreless innings in relief and got the win. Jeff Belge (1-1) took the loss. Michael Arias picked up the save (1) by pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
The two teams will meet again on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. ET for game three of the scheduled six game series.
