PEORIA, IL - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers rallied from a 3-0 deficit in game one of Sunday's doubleheader against the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park. However, the Chiefs scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning for a 4-3, walk-off win.
Peoria (3-5) took the lead in the second inning on an RBI infield single by Nick Plummer.

In the third, Yariel Gonzalez and Elehuris Montero hit back-to-back home runs to right on consecutive pitches to extend the Chiefs lead to 3-0. The homers were the first of the year for both players.

Wisconsin (3-6) cut into the Peoria lead in the fourth inning. Franly Mallen singled with two outs for his second hit of the game. A wild pitch allowed Mallen to advance all the way to third. Then, Nick Roscetti drove in Mallen with a single.

The Rattlers chipped away with another run in the fifth. Segovia doubles and Pat McInerney drew a walk to start the inning. Segovia was on third and McInerney was still at first with two outs and it looked like the opportunity would pass by Wisconsin. But, Gilbert Lara delivered a single to drive in Segovia.

Roscetti and Segovia had a hand in tying the game in the top of the sixth. Roscetti doubled with one out to get into scoring position. Segovia singled to center for his fourth hit of the game and Roscetti raced home with the run to even the score 3-3.

Julio Rodriguez, who had doubled in the second inning to set up the Chiefs first run, started the bottom of the seventh with a double to right. Plummer was next and he dropped a bunt single up the third base line. The throw to first by Roscetti was wild an Rodriguez jogged home with the winning run.
