Front Office Staff

2024 marks Rob's 28th season in Minor League Baseball, all with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Rob received his bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He began his career with the Timber Rattlers as an unpaid intern before joining the full-time staff as a group sales representative. After two years in group ticket sales, Rob was promoted to Director of Baseball Operations and then to Vice President of Baseball Operations. Following the 2002 season, he was promoted to Team President and General Manager. In 2020, with the uncertainty surrounding Minor League Baseball and the pandemic canceling the season, Rob, along with his business partners Craig Dickman and Brad Raaths, purchased the team and the stadium, creating the first private ownership group in Appleton baseball club history.

Under Rob’s leadership, the Timber Rattlers have been recognized multiple times for their achievements. In 2012, the team was named the Fox Valley Small Business of the Year by the Appleton Post-Crescent and received Minor League Baseball’s highest achievement for promotional excellence, the Larry MacPhail Award. The team received the Midwest League President's Award in 2005, 2018, and 2019 and was recognized four times – in 2012, 2015, 2016, and 2017 – by the Midwest League for promotional excellence. In 2019, the Timber Rattlers were awarded two Minor League Baseball Golden Bobbleheads for Theme Night of the Year as well as Promotion of the Year. To cap off 2019, the team was named to the inaugural list of Top 50 best employers in all of sports by Front Office Sports, the only Minor League team to do so. In 2022, the Timber Rattlers repeated as recipients of the Front Office Sports best employers in sports award and were named the Baseball America Frietas Award winner for Single A, which represents the best Single A franchise in Minor League Baseball. From a personal standpoint, Rob was recognized as UW-Whitewater's Outstanding Recent Alumni in 2004, has been recognized as the Midwest League Executive of the Year three times – in 2007, 2012, and 2018 and was named the 2023 Baseball America Minor League Baseball Executive of the Year.

Rob was also instrumental in bringing a Northwoods League baseball team to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and has served as the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders Team President since their inception in 2017. The team has seen much success in their short existence and was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the Marian University Business and Industry Awards in 2017. The team captured their first league title the next season in only their second year of existence and repeated as league champion in 2020. Aaron is in his 17th season with the Timber Rattlers. The Newton, WI native graduated from UW-La Crosse in 2004 and interned for the Birmingham Barons (AA-White Sox) that season. He joined the Rattlers in 2006 as a seasonal box office employee and currently oversees the team's stadium operations and special events. Aaron lives in Appleton with his wife, Danyelle, their two beautiful daughters, and their two handsome sons. He enjoys traveling and watching Brewers baseball whenever possible. email Aaron

Ryan will be entering his 12th season with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers organization and second as Vice President after spending the three previous seasons as General Manager of the Timber Rattlers sister team, the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. Previous to his time in Fond du Lac, he had worked as the Director of the Tickets with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers from 2010-2016. Before joining the team, Ryan worked for the Sacramento River Cats (AAA - Oakland A's) as a Ticket Sales Representative. He previously interned with the Milwaukee Brewers in their Corporate Marketing department. Ryan is a native of Algoma and graduated from UW-Parkside with a degree in Sport Management. Ryan currently lives in Greenleaf with his wife, Amanda, and daughters, Larkin and Piper. email Ryan

Hilary is in her 10th season with the Timber Rattlers. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and started working in baseball during the summer of 2010 as a Marketing Intern with the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters of the Northwoods League. Bauer spent the summer of 2012 as a Corporate Marketing Intern with the Milwaukee Brewers. Hilary oversees the Timber Rattlers fan experience at games along with the marketing, advertising, and social media plans. email Hilary

Eric joined the Timber Rattlers in February of 2019. He is originally from Manitowoc, WI. Eric graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 2004 and received a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh in 2008. He spent most of his career in the automotive industry before joining the Timber Rattlers. Eric is an avid fan of the Brewers, Packers, Bucks, and Badgers. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking and spending time with his wife, Danielle, their son Hudson, and daughter Ava. email Eric

Tyler started with the Timber Rattlers as a Fang Fanatic in the 2017 season and again as an intern during the 2018 season. He joined the team full-time as the Box Office Manager in 2020. Prior to the Timber Rattlers, VanRossum interned for the Wisconsin Herd and Milwaukee Bucks, while also being a part of the Green Bay Packers gameday entertainment staff. Originally from Sherwood, Wisconsin, Tyler graduated from Marian University in 2020 with a degree in both Sports Management and Marketing along with a minor in Athletic Coaching. In his free time, Tyler can be found attending concerts or cheering on all Wisconsin sports teams. email Tyler

Hartman, a native of Deer Park, Illinois, graduated from Butler University in May of 2022 where she majored in Sports Media while minoring in Business and Recreation & Sports studies. While at Butler, she worked across numerous departments for Butler Athletics including ticketing, event operations, production, and social media. She also interned for the Indy Fuel hockey team as a community events intern as well as game operations and worked events like NCAA Tournament Games, Big 10 Media days, and the Big 10 Football Championship. Hartman was working for Butler Athletics as a Ticketing Assistant before joining the Timber Rattlers ticket team. email Sam

Ryan, known to most as Pooby, has been the Director of Food and Beverage for the Timber Rattlers since 2002. He is a Hortonville native and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Pooby has a bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism, and before the Rattlers, he worked various management positions at the Paper Valley Hotel in downtown Appleton. Pooby has also served on the Dale Fire and Rescue as a volunteer for over 15 years. After the hotel and during his tenure with the Timber Rattlers, he and his wife, owned and operated Perk's Supper Club for 8 eight years, in Medina. Pooby and his wife, Tricia, reside in Hortonville along with their two children, Logan and Marin. email Ryan

2023 marks Megan’s 13th season with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers organization. She started working concessions as a server during the 2010 season and then moved into the role of a stand manager, before coming on full-time as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage in 2019. Megan graduated from Appleton West High School in 2004 and earned a bachelor’s degree in History from Lakeland University. Outside of work, Megan loves to craft, take photos, plan the best parties, and can always be found cheering on the Brewers & the Wolverines, GO BLUE! Most of all she loves spending time with her family and spoiling her two nieces as much as possible. email Megan

Charles is in his 7th season with the Rattlers. He is originally from Manitowoc Wisconsin, graduated from Roncalli High School in 2004 and Fox Valley Technical College in 2008 with an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts. Throughout his years in Appleton, he has worked as the Sous Chef of the Oshkosh Convention Center and kitchen supervisor for the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel. In 2016 he won the "Emerging Chef of the Year" award, and in 2018 he won the "Chef of the Year" award from the American Culinary Federation -Fox Valley Chapter, a group he is currently active in, serving as vice president. Charles lives in Appleton with his wife, Kaitlyn, daughters, Norah, and Violet and their pets. In his downtime, he loves smoking meats and grilling for friends and neighbors, and cheering on all Wisconsin sports teams. email Charles

Chris, a native of Appleton, will be entering his 11th season with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. His first six years were as the Assistant Food and Beverage Director. Chris graduated from Appleton West High School in 2004 and earned a degree in Wildlife Ecology from UW-Stevens Point in 2009. After college, he moved to Knoxville, Tennessee to work at the Knoxville Zoological Gardens to fulfill a lifelong dream of working with elephants. At the end of 2010, he moved back to Appleton and began his career in the food & beverage industry. Before joining the Timber Rattlers, he worked for The Marq by Festival, Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, Oshkosh Convention Center, and Cobblestone Creek. In 2019, he helped open the Community First Champion Center in Appleton as the Operations Manager. Chris lives in Appleton, with his wife Laura, and their two sons: Ezra and Owen. In his spare time, Chris enjoys reading, playing video games, and spending time with his family. He is also a huge Star Wars fan. email Chris

Sukow, a graduate of the University of Maryland-Global Campus with a degree in Business Administration, was already a member of the Rattlers Food & Beverage team as a worker with game day and banquet staff experience. The Watertown native will work with clients who wish to stage events in the Fox Club at Neuroscience Group Field and make them the best that they can be. email Lynn

Seth has been with the Timber Rattlers since February of 2011. In his first seven seasons, he oversaw the group sales department as Director of Group Sales and then moved over to Corporate Partnerships prior to the 2018 season. Originally from New London, Wisconsin, Seth graduated with a Degree in Radio/TV/Film and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. While at Oshkosh, Seth took part in the Walt Disney World College Program in Orlando, Florida. Seth currently resides in Neenah with his wife Hilary, son Navin, and daughter Fairyn. email Seth

Kyle started with the Timber Rattlers as an intern during the 2017 season and was brought on full-time as a Group Sales Representative following that season. Prior to the Timber Rattlers, Fargen participated in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in Florida during the spring of 2015. Fargen then interned with the La Crosse Loggers of the Northwoods League in the Summer of 2015. Originally from Middleton, Wisconsin, Kyle graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in 2017 with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration. In his free time, you will find Kyle cheering on his beloved North Carolina Tar-Heels basketball team and LA Chargers. email Kyle

2023 marks Nick's 11th season working in professional baseball and 8th with the Timber Rattlers. Before joining the Rattlers, Nick was a video production intern for the Southern Illinois Miners '13, Indianapolis Indians '14, and graphic designer for the Sugar Land Skeeters '15. He is originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a degree in Sports Television Production. During games, you can find Nick on the field or in the stands shooting photography and video. Nick also has a unique set of social skills that include laughing when he shouldn't, telling jokes in awkward situations, and saying "you too" when the waiter tells him to enjoy his meal. In his free time, Nick enjoys fishing, riding his motorcycle, and exercising. email Nick

Chris has been the radio announcer for the Timber Rattlers since 2000. He is also the author of Rattler Radio, a blog that can tell you more about him than this biography. Chris also worked for the team in corporate sales before moving into his current role of Director of Media Relations. Chris has previously worked with the Green Bay Gamblers, the University of Wisconsin-Superior, the Duluth/Superior Dukes, and a radio station in Sheboygan. email Chris

2023 marks Dayna's 14th season with the Timber Rattlers. Before joining the team in the fall of 2008, Dayna interned with the Northern Michigan Athletic Department, the United States Olympic Education Center, and the Lacrosse Loggers of the Northwoods League. Dayna was born and raised in Neenah, WI, and is a 2008 graduate of Northern Michigan University with a major in Entertainment and Sports Promotion and a minor in Marketing. Dayna resides in Harrison with her husband, Jordan, their daughter Rowan, and son Hudson. Dayna enjoys everything running-related, traveling, and spending time with her family. email Dayna

Jake is in his 6th season with the Timber Rattlers. He began his career as a Rattlers intern in 2013 and then joined Fang's Fanatics in 2014. Jake then was hired full time to be the Entertainment Coordinator. He is born and Raised in Appleton, WI, and a graduate of Appleton East High School. He has an associate's degree in Arts & Science from the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley. email Jake

2023 is Brooke's 5th season with the Timber Rattlers. Brooke is originally from Manitowoc, WI, and graduated from Lakeland University with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining the Timber Rattlers, Brooke worked in the dental and automotive industries. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Tyler, twins Gracie and Griffin, and their yellow lab, Birch. email Brooke

Justin joined the Timber Rattlers in October of 2018. A native of Hammond, WI, is a graduate of St. Croix Central High School and a 2011 graduate of Purdue University. He interned for the Arkansas Travelers (AA-Angels) in 2014. Prior to joining the Timber Rattlers, Justin worked for the St. Paul Saints Sports Academy as a Facilities Operations Coordinator and UW-River Falls as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. In his free time, Justin spends time with his dog Brees, follows Purdue, the Brewers, and the Packers.. email Justin

Scheier, who is from Ripon and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, also had prior experience with the Timber Rattlers. He was an intern on the grounds crew in 2023. He will work with Director of Grounds Jordan Gretzlock on maintaining the playing surface and other areas on the grounds of Neuroscience Group Field as he pursues an MS in Sports Management from the University of West Virginia and his Turf Science Certification. email Lucas

Scott is entering his 8th season with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and his 3rd as Director of Security. He started in 2014 as a Game Day Security Officer, promoted to Security Manager in 2015, and then promoted to Director of Security in 2019. Scott is a 1988 graduate of Fox Valley Technical College and has an Associate Degree in Police Science. Prior to starting with the Timber Rattlers, he was a Grand Chute Police Officer starting in 1989 and retiring in 2014. He is still currently certified in law enforcement and is working part-time since 2016 with the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Dept. and assigned to the Appleton International Airport. Outside of work he enjoys traveling and is an avid Packers and Brewers fan. Scott resides in Neenah with his wife of 28 years Lea Anne, and is a proud father of his daughter Kiela who resides in New York City. email Scott

Mary joined the Timber Rattlers in April of 1995, working part-time in ticket sales and going full time in October of 1995 after being offered the Office Manager position. Besides being a Timber Rattlers fan, Mary is an avid Brewer, Badger, and Packer fan. Mary and her husband, Mike, have six grandchildren: three granddaughters in the Fox Valley and two grandsons, and one granddaughter in Arizona. In her spare time, Mary and Mike enjoy going up to Door County and as for retirement, she's still not quite ready for that just yet! email Mary
