The ‘Cats sent right-hander Kyle Arjona to the hill to start Wednesday’s contest. Arjona would surrender 5 runs, all earned, on 9 hits over 5.1 IP, before making way for Brac Warren, who would throw 1.2 innings of perfect baseball.The lone run surrendered by Tri-City relievers on Wednesday would be charged to Neil Abbatiello. The run would break a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the eighth, before Ottawa closer Kevin Escorcia would slam the door to secure an Ottawa win.
On the offensive side of the ball, Carson McCusker and Brantley Bell tallied multi-hit, multi-RBI games, each homering in Wednesday’s contest.
