TROY, NY --- Monday afternoon's season finale for the Vermont Lake Monsters and Tri-City ValleyCats was postponed due to rain, ending the New York-Penn League season for both teams.
The Lake Monsters finish the year with a 33-42 record, the fifth 33-win season in the last eight years for Vermont (33-43 in 2012, 2013 and 2014, while 33-42 in 2015 and 2019).
First-round pick Logan Davidson will finish fourth in the NYPL with 42 runs scored, including a league best 38 runs since July 14th.
Vermont will return to action in 289 days when they open the 2020 season at historic Centennial Field against the Tri-City ValleyCats.
